如何刪除您的帳戶
您可以直接在 App 內刪除帳戶。依您所在的頁面，有兩種方式：
方式一（等待加入頁面）
- 於「等待加入」頁面，點擊右上角的 ⋯ 按鈕。
- 點選「刪除帳號」。
- 依畫面指示確認刪除。
方式二（App 主頁）
- 於 App 主頁，點擊右上角的設定圖示（⚙️）。
- 進入「帳號管理」。
- 點選「刪除帳號」。
- 依畫面指示確認刪除。
方式三（電子郵件協助）
若您無法透過 App 操作，亦可寄信至 support@cherryontech.com 提出刪除帳戶請求。為保障您的帳戶安全，我們將先協助驗證您是否為帳戶擁有者，再進行刪除。
刪除後會發生什麼
當您提出刪除帳戶請求後：
- 您的帳戶將立即停用。
- 我們將於 7 天內永久刪除您的個人資料，包含：
- 個人檔案（暱稱、性別、生日、配對偏好）
- 話題卡內容
- 聊天訊息
- 配對記錄
- 我們亦會同步刪除儲存於第三方服務（如 RevenueCat）中與您帳戶關聯之資料。
此操作不可逆。 若您日後以相同的第三方帳號重新註冊，將被視為全新使用者，先前的資料不會恢復。
哪些資料可能會保留
基於法律遵循、財務稽核與安全維護等正當目的，下列資料於帳戶刪除後仍可能保留一段必要期間：
- 財務與交易記錄：因應法令、退款與稅務所需。
- 檢舉與封鎖記錄：為維護社群安全與處理檢舉調查所需。
上述資料將於不再具有保留必要時刪除。詳細說明請參閱我們的《隱私權政策》。
關於您的訂閱
若您有付費訂閱，請注意：訂閱是綁定於您的 Apple ID 或 Google 帳號，而非樹屋帳戶。 刪除樹屋帳戶不會自動取消您的訂閱。
如需取消訂閱，請前往：
- iOS：「設定」→ 您的 Apple ID →「訂閱項目」→ 找到樹屋 →「取消訂閱」。
- Android：開啟 Google Play →「帳戶」→「付款與訂閱」→「訂閱」→ 找到樹屋 →「取消訂閱」。
建議您先取消訂閱，再刪除帳戶，以免產生非預期的續訂費用。

This page explains how to delete your Treehouse account, and how we handle your data after your account is deleted.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account directly within the app. Depending on which screen you are on, there are two ways to do this:
Option 1 (Waiting to Join screen)
- On the "Waiting to Join" screen, tap the ⋯ button in the top-right corner.
- Select "Delete Account".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion.
Option 2 (App home)
- On the app home screen, tap the settings icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner.
- Go to "Account Management".
- Select "Delete Account".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion.
Option 3 (Email assistance)
If you are unable to do this through the app, you can also email support@cherryontech.com to request account deletion. To protect the security of your account, we will first verify that you are the account owner before proceeding with the deletion.
What happens after deletion
Once you request account deletion:
- Your account will be deactivated immediately.
- We will permanently delete your personal data within 7 days, including:
- Profile information (nickname, gender, date of birth, matching preferences)
- Topic card content
- Chat messages
- Matching history
- We will also delete data associated with your account that is stored in third-party services (such as RevenueCat).
This action is irreversible. If you sign up again later using the same third-party account, you will be treated as a brand-new user, and your previous data will not be restored.
What data may be retained
For legitimate purposes such as legal compliance, financial auditing, and security maintenance, the following data may be retained for a necessary period after your account is deleted:
- Financial and transaction records: as required for legal, refund, and tax purposes.
- Report and block records: as required to maintain community safety and to handle report investigations.
Such data will be deleted once it is no longer necessary to retain it. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
About your subscription
If you have a paid subscription, please note: subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not to your Treehouse account. Deleting your Treehouse account will not automatically cancel your subscription.
To cancel your subscription, please go to:
- iOS: "Settings" → your Apple ID → "Subscriptions" → find Treehouse → "Cancel Subscription".
- Android: Open Google Play → "Account" → "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions" → find Treehouse → "Cancel Subscription".
We recommend that you cancel your subscription first, then delete your account, to avoid any unexpected renewal charges.
